Home From College is a SaaS-based tech start-up based in California, with a mission to even the professional playing-field and give everyone a chance to hone their skills, harness their passions, and find their place in the world. Giving students a chance pre-graduation to gain hands-on experience that can move them forward in the working world by building their confidence and resumes at once.

My work at H\FC began in January 2023 as a temporary UGC Content Creator, which soon transitioned into a contracted Video Content Creator role, creating weekly Instagram Reels content and leading Reels growth. In my later role as a Social Coordinator Intern from June to August 2023, I rebranded our social strategy in alignment with the evolution of brand strategy, which grew our following from 13.2K to 42.4K and tripled our engagement. During this time, I also spearheaded the creation of the H\FC blog and newsletter.

From August 2023 to May 2024 as Digital Marketing Coordinator, I led the continued evolution of brand strategy, content strategy via Instagram, email marketing growth, grew our blog (Study Guide), and managed our Video Content Intern!

In totality of my time owning the H\FC Instagram, from June 2023 to May 2024, we grew our Instagram community to over 58K, with an average engagement rate of 9%. Our weekly newsletter, with an open rate of 47%, had evolved into a great resource for our community of 100K+ students to find endless job opportunities and education content that helps them grow in their career!
