CONTENT STRATEGIST + CONTENT CREATOR

Since August 2022, I have worked to strategize and create organic + paid video/photography content for brands including Green Tile Social Club, Aquaphor, DAM DAM Tokyo, Urban Outfitters, Poppi, Steve Madden, and more!

My services include campaign-based or full-brand content strategy, creative briefing and project managing to internal or 3rd party agency teams, lo-fi content production, content editing, and social copywriting.

Both as a the face of a brand or the woman behind the magic, I’ve helped brands build relationships with Gen-Z audiences through dynamic and elevated content that echos the ethos of their brand!

GREEN TILE SOCIAL CLUB

Green Tile Social Club is a mahjong community based in New York City, hosting pop-up mahjong events around the city to help young Asian Americans (re)connect with community and culture.

What I do:

  1. content strategy: to promote events, to keep our community in-the-know and excited, to feed larger marketing plans for major calendar events (i.e. lunar new year), to attract new community members

  2. content creation: content ideation, on-sight filming, editing, caption copy and hashtags, day-of uploads (storytelling announcements, vibe-focused event recaps, community-focused videos)

Urban Outfitters

UO Campus Ambassador from August 2022 - May 2023, creating trend-forward video and still content in Austin, TX and London, UK, and eventing in Austin, TX

What I did:

  1. content creation: based on received creative briefs, create lifestyle-focused organic short-form videos and stills to promote new UO drops in fashion, beauty, and home towards college students (posted on UO and @sarahxu21 TikTok and Instagram)

  2. eventing: concepting and and assisting in event production twice per semester in Austin, TX (winter holiday market and UOxKlarna event)

Steve Madden

Worked with Steve Madden as a content creator in 2 campaigns between 2022-2024

  1. 2022 Back-to-school campaign featuring clothing and accessory pieces from the new collection

  2. 2024 Campus Tour campaign promoting the new SM shoe line and on-campus activation

Aquaphor college ambassador creator from a 5-month campaign in 2023, creating authentic college lifestyle-focused video content in Los Angeles, CA, and Austin, TX
